Laboratories

Our full-scale laboratories are located in ZJE research building 2A-304, International Campus, Zhejiang University, China.

Synthetic Biology Lab
– Systems to produce recombinant protein polymers for use in biomaterial studies. Equipment includes PCR, sharker incubators, biosafety cabinets, fermentor, sonicator, French press, centrifuges, and UV spectrometer.
Biomaterial Processing Lab
– A range of processing tools to modify and functionalize biomaterials. Equipment includes chemical fume hood, microfluidic systems, spin coater, plasma cleaner, lyophilizer, pH meter, conductivity meter, and polarized microscope.
Tissue Engineering Lab
– Full facilities for growth and characterization of mammalian cells, including stem cells and other cell sources. Equipment includes biosafety cabinets, range of incubators, cell storage, centrifuges, and fluorescence microscope.
